Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the website https://inchirieriauto-bucuresti.com/ and Compania’s services. By accessing and using the website, you agree to these provisions.
Who we are
Compania SRL, registered office at Str. Exemplu nr. 1, Sectorul 1, București, tax ID 00000000, registered with the Trade Registry under no. J00/000/2020, a company providing private services to its clients and partners.
Nature of our services
Compania is a private entity providing car rental services to its clients, with pickup in Bucharest, Otopeni or Băneasa. Compania is not a government institution and does not represent any public authority.
Specific car rental conditions
Age and driving licence
The minimum age for renting and the minimum time the driving licence must have been held are shown at the time of booking (by default 21 years old, with a licence held for at least 1 year) and can be updated from the admin panel. The driver must hold a valid driving licence for the entire rental period.
Deposit (security deposit)
A deposit (refundable) may be requested when you pick up the car; the amount is shown on each car’s page. Alternatively, you can choose the “without deposit” option (where available for the chosen car), which involves a daily supplement instead of holding a deposit — both price options are shown clearly before you submit your booking. The deposit held is refunded in full when the car is returned, provided no damage or irregularities are found.
Fuel policy
The car is handed over and returned with the same fuel level, unless otherwise agreed at pickup. Any fuel missing on return is charged according to the rate communicated at handover.
Mileage
The included mileage limit (if any) and the cost per extra kilometre are shown on each car’s page; most cars in our fleet have unlimited mileage.
Insurance and damage
All cars in our fleet carry valid mandatory third-party liability insurance (RCA). Any damage caused through the driver’s fault during the rental period is recovered, as applicable, from the deposit held or, if this does not cover the loss, directly from the client, based on the assessment made at handover.
Cancelling or changing a booking
The booking is confirmed by phone after you submit your request; cancellation or change conditions are communicated and agreed at that point, depending on the time remaining until pickup.
Handover and return
The car is handed over on the confirmed date, time and location (Bucharest, Otopeni or Băneasa). Returning the car later than the grace period shown at booking may result in additional costs, calculated according to the car’s rate for the extra day(s).
Collaborators and partners
For certain services, Compania may work with independent partners or specialists, who take on, within their own remit, the specific duties that fall to them under the law. Compania’s role is limited to providing the agreed service and to operational coordination, without carrying out duties reserved by law to other professions.
Virtual assistant (AI chatbot)
The website may provide a virtual assistant (AI-based chatbot) for general information about our services and to take down contact requests. By using it, you accept that:
- Its responses are for general information purposes only, are generated automatically, may contain errors or incomplete information, and do not constitute legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, nor a firm offer;
- You should not make decisions based solely on the assistant’s responses; for your specific situation, these are confirmed by a Compania consultant;
- You should not enter sensitive data or confidential documents into the chat; you can request at any time to be put through to a human contact;
- The availability of this feature may be interrupted or changed at any time, without prior notice.

Offer and rates
Services are provided based on a tailored quote, depending on your specific situation. Rates are provided on request and, unless stated otherwise, are expressed in lei and do not include official fees payable to institutions. Payment is made as agreed (usually by invoice / bank transfer).
Right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days, in accordance with Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, without needing to justify your decision. If you expressly request that service provision begin before this period expires, you will owe payment for the services provided up to the moment of withdrawal.
Client obligations
To ensure services run smoothly, you agree to provide accurate, complete and timely information and documents. Compania is not liable for delays or consequences resulting from incorrect, incomplete or late information.
Confidentiality
We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in compliance with GDPR.
Intellectual property
All content on the website (text, articles, images, logo) belongs to Compania SRL or its partners and is protected by law. Content may not be reproduced or reused without prior written consent.
Limitation of liability
Information on the website (including blog articles and the virtual assistant’s responses) is for general information purposes and may be updated to reflect legislative changes. It does not constitute individualised legal advice. For your specific situation, contact us for a quote.
Governing law and dispute resolution
This document is governed by Romanian law. Any disagreements will be resolved amicably; failing that, jurisdiction lies with the courts established according to law. Consumers may also contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) — anpc.ro, including through the Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism (SAL), or the EU’s online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
